The Muskogee Chamber of Commerce and Creek Nation Casion present the 2020 virtual Women’s Leadership Conference, “Week of Women”! This year there will be a virtual speaker session each day at 10:00 am, October 5th through the 8th via Zoom. Speakers as follow;
Monday- Kuma Roberts- Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce
Tuesday- Alison Anthony- Tulsa Area United Way-“Fearless and Creative Collaboration”
Wednesday- Xan Black- Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance- “Say what you know, do what you must, come what may.”
Thursday- “Key Note Speaker” Kayse Shrum- OSU Center for Health Sciences

Wednesday, October 7th – 7:00-8:30 am “Common Grounds”- enjoy your morning coffee at The Break downtown, while networking with fellow Women’s Leadership participants.
Thursday, October 8th- “Breast Cancer Awareness Month- Drive-Thru”- presented by Saint Francis Hospital- learn about breast cancer awareness & Saint Francis Hospitals’ new Breast Center, meet their staff, and get some fun goodies!

Keynote Speaker:
Kayse M. Shrum, D.O.
President, OSU Center for Health Sciences
Dean, OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine
President Shrum is a native Oklahoman. She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed executive leadership and management training programs at Harvard University and Stanford University. She joined the medical school faculty at OSU Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) in 2002. In 2011, she was named provost of OSU-CHS and dean of the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2013, she was promoted to her current position as president of OSU-CHS, becoming the youngest and first female president and dean of a medical school in the state of Oklahoma. She served as Governor Stitt’s cabinet as Secretary of Science and Innovation from March 2019 to June 2020. President Shrum has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to Oklahoma. Her honors include: Osteopathic Founders Foundation 2020 Outstanding Physician, Journal Record 2019 Woman of the Year, 2019 Inductee into Connors State College Alumni Hall of Fame, 2018 Newsmaker Award by the Association for Women in Communications Tulsa Chapter and 2014 Oklahoma Osteopathic Association’s Outstanding & Distinguished Service Award. She lives in Coweta with her husband, Darren. Together, they have 6 children.
