Purpose of Amnesty DAY?
The purpose of Amnesty Day is to assist any person who has an arrest warrant in the City of Muskogee or Muskogee County Courts by removing their warrant(s) and re-establishing a payment plan for any outstanding fees. In addition to eliminating any outstanding warrants, the goal is to assist lower income persons in escaping from the cycle of reoffending or violating probation due to financial conditions.
Solutions may include offering no-cost defense through trial, while advising you of other community resources; including education, job, transportation, and substance abuse counseling.
Amnesty Day is hosted by the Indigent Criminal Defense Program, a program of Neighbors Building Neighborhoods and
a collaboration group committed to improving Muskogee.
We are able to assist you through a generous grant received from the Oklahoma Bar Foundation.
If you have questions, call (918)683-4600, please ask for the Indigent Criminal Defense department.
