2018 PARADE THEME
This year the Azalea Parade theme is ‘A DAY IN THE PARK’. We will be celebrating 51 years of Muskogee Azalea Festivals, over 65 years of azaleas in Honor Heights Park, and 109 years of Honor Heights Park having a place in Muskogee (the original 40 acres of Honor Heights Park was purchased by the City of Muskogee in 1909!). The Muskogee Azalea Festival Parade Committee hopes you will join us in the parade and decorate to reflect the theme.
WHO ENTERS THE PARADE?
Civic Clubs, pageant queens and kings, dance units, drill teams, marching bands, horse clubs, churches, schools, elected officials, dignitaries, VIPs, and anyone else who wants to celebrate springtime in Oklahoma and the Muskogee Azalea Festival.
HOW DO I ENTER?
Look over the enclosed guidelines, fill out the attached form and mail it, drop it off, or fax it to the Muskogee Parks and Recreation Department before the deadline of Wednesday, April 4, 2018. We will get back to you with your acceptance asap. Parade lineup and directions will be sent out on Friday, April 6th.
