Chamber Investment & Sponsorship Opportunities
Our Partnership Opportunities Program – or POP – is the most efficient way for you to personalize your investment with the Chamber while maximizing the benefits to you, your employees, and your business. POPs are completed annually with a large variety of opportunities.
Chamber members who invest $3,000 or more annually, are our Legacy Members. Legacy Members receive exclusive opportunities from the Chamber as well as additional advertising and recognition.

We have multiple and varying opportunities for you to advertise your business. From having a banner ad on the Chamber’s website, putting your logo on weekly emails, or showing your support on signage for specific events. Your membership with the Chamber gains you exclusive opportunities to enhance and leverage a small advertising budget.

We have several working committees perfect for the member’s leadership team and employees to volunteer and support the work of the Chamber, and Muskogee, as your time allows. Find the right ones to fit your needs and to involve your employees in the community.
Our current standing committees that are open to all Chamber members are:
Chair: Cheryl Leatherman; Staff Liaison: Amber Crall
Promotes and supports local businesses associated with all components of agriculture, including the Farmer’s Market. The work of this committee supports the annual Muskogee Regional Junior Livestock Show and
Chair: Sheryl Mccoy; Staff Liaison: Amanda Johnson
This committee works to ensure our members have the full support of the Chamber and are provided opportunities such as ribbon cuttings, open house, and groundbreaking events. The committee meets the first Wednesday of every month over lunch at a Chamber Member restaurant.
My Muskogee Christmas Promotions Committee:
Chair: Darrell Hamby; Staff Liaison: Corynne Jewson
Plans and implements the annual Magic Holiday Giveaway event and community-wide retail promotion campaign. This program increases awareness of local retailers, encourages people to shop local, and increases sales tax revenue for the city of Muskogee. The committee typically meets every few weeks in August – December.
Muskogee Vision Committee:
Chair: Jim Eaton; Staff Liaison: Angela Wilson
The mission and purpose of this think tank is to dream, visualize, and discuss a vision for Muskogee and often serves as an incubator for ideas that improve and foster a positive image for Muskogee. This high energy committee meets the third Friday of every month for a 7:30 a.m. breakfast in the Georgia-Pacific Board Room at the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce.
Paul Revere Legislative Affairs Committee:
Chair: Jerry McPeak; Staff Liaison: Angela Wilson
This committee oversees all of the government relations and legislative policy programs of the Chamber, including candidate forums, elected officials round-tables and other events. The committee meets the second Friday of the month at 7:30 a.m. in the Georgia-Pacific Board Room at the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce.
Women’s Leadership Committee:
Chair: Phyllis Spriggs; Staff Liaison: Corynne Jewson
This group of extraordinary women meets from January – July of each year to plan one of the largest women’s events in the region. The Chamber’s annual Women’s Leadership Conference and Awards Luncheon draws approximately 200 women every year. The committee plans the conference from start to finish, including securing speakers, planning a fashion show, constructing informative and educational conference sessions, and awarding local women who have made a difference. The committee typically meets on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. from January – June.

From time to time, on an as-needed basis, the Chamber will form specialized or ad-hoc committees to help meet our mission or the needs of our membership. If there is something you are particularly interested in, please let us know.
The Chamber strives to find strategic communication methods, keep members well-informed on Chamber related information, Tourism, as well as other pertinent matters, and help our membership advertise and market their business in the community.
- Chamber Members receive a weekly Monday Morning Memo that keeps them informed of current Chamber activities, committee meetings, and events.
- A Fun Things to Do This Weekend email is distributed to over 2,000 addresses every Thursday morning. This email is not limited to just the Chamber membership. It gives you an opportunity to share fun things to do in Muskogee with your co-workers and friends and also could serve as an additional marketing tool for your business.
- Chamber members receive priority placement in our Visitor and Welcome Packets, and our Relocation Guides.
- Publicly advertised Ribbon Cutting, Ground Breaking and Member Spotlight ceremonies put your business in local newspapers, on multiple social media sites, and on our web site.
- Chamber members receive premier advertising in the Chamber office, on social media, and in all Muskogee Tourist Information Centers.
