Muskogee War Memorial Park – Home of the USS Batfish

The USS Batfish is  a  submarine on permanent display at the War Memorial Park in Muskogee. This veteran of WWII  is open for tours, allowing visitors to examine the vessel that sank three Royal Japanese Navy submarines in a 76-hour span, along with eleven other enemy vessels during her time in battle. Experience for yourself the tight spaces in which the crew lived and worked, including the crew cabins and torpedo room. The park also includes displays including a tank, cannons and missiles and the Walk of Honor, a moving tribute to all veterans.
